Lady with a vision

 ts

She glanced across the bridge of confusion

                noticing the shadow

                      of an appending affection

           shimmering on the other side.

For hidden in the mist,

         shading its existence,

                      in the fog of  incarnation,

                                      was her inner desire.

How she wanted,

       the suns rays to dry,

              the mist from her landscape,

revealing what she could not see clearly.

This beauty,

       that stood beyond her vision,

                                    but not her inner sight,

Its name is justice,

          its course is truth,

                   its reward is freedom,

And this is what she saw,

        in the image reflecting back,

                upon her.

I wonder why nobody has commented on this one . . . it’s lovely. Soft and full of truth. Well worth reading.

This beauty, that stood beyond her vision, but not her inner sight…… I can relate to this beautiful piece of poetry. I like your style…so nice to meet you :)
