Bridge it

woman_looking

Her inner passion runs wild, a dream lost, is now found, resulting in second thoughts; doubt and confusion haunting her very being, casting expectation into her world of lost dreams. The emotions are slowly being brought forth from deep inside her heart, where they are hidden but not lost. They are now reaching for her soul with anticipation and apprehension before her.

Awakened in darkness of this fear, now seeing the light, she believes in herself, yet holds fears for another, as that fear slips away. Her name is a reverberation of the sounds held profoundly in the minds of others. Her words stand in front of her thoughts, and her morals are behind her actions. Her soul shines this truth through her eyes, as they gaze upon this world.

She is a woman, she is a child, she is a mother, and she is a daughter. She is life, hope, and most of all; she is success in the face of defeat. For her years of silence are now like a star that has kissed the sweetness of my living soul, in the memory of my fading life. Darkness gives way to the light of hope, shining brighter as the days go by.

I find myself in those moments of pondering, tracing out her image in the obscurity of the clouds, as I drift in my new found thoughts of reality, hidden behind a much believed fantasy. My thoughts seem to now give way to those emotions and senses of holding that which has not been held. Hoping that the touch will help reunite two souls separated by destiny and brought back together by providence.

The rush of images flashing before the eyes, as they hold back tears, neither of pain nor doubt, but rather of a love needing to be shared. If she wishes upon that silent star, if fate directs her will, her strength of character shall find herself, sharing life’s treasures with such a mysterious, sweet soul; she will have found herself in another, as they shall find themselves in her.

Just perhaps tonight she shall find dreams much sweeter than those dreams in her awakening hours. Now that I have found her in my thoughts, all that seems left is to have her in my heart, my world and most of all, in my life. When the violence of my feelings becomes heavy on my heart and unlocks the treasury of my thoughts hidden from myself, then, just maybe, my love will follow my heart and signal my mind to release my soul, to unite with hers, in hopes of hers uniting with mine.

A lot of hopes wrapped up in one tale, a longing to find again what once was. In life though it is far too easy to trace the steps that you once walked and treacherous to actually do so. We grew from love, pass on our love to our own children and hope that they too will learn to love and be loved by their fellow man.

This could be for the love of someone else or in the finding of oneself which was lost. It could be a bringing together of two lost souls looking for the light. A nice read; soft and dreamy.

I think I read this earlier today. And finding that I had left a review I probably went away without a comment. Your read request brought me back today. There is something about your words lately that draws me back again and again. It isn’t hard to infer from your words that something powerful is moving through your life. We are blessed that you share the experience with us here. Your voice is so rich and full of love lately. It is a pleasure to stop and read again.

OOOh WOW!! this was so amazing, emotions and love are such powerful things
sometimes comes at a time when you least expect it, or a time when not appropriate to feel it, some may question are you sure you want to act on it? and some may say go with it!! this was beautiful and a bit sad at the same time, that is my interpetation on it anyway.. either way it was outstanding..

I kind of like how the woman described above is neither tangible or intangible. She just is. That being the case, this could be a metaphor for pretty much anything. I also like the confessional tone you use here, as though this is something you’ve been keeping locket away and only now do you tell us. This is also very relatable–anyone can read this and identify with the longing, lonliness, and heartache. Really good stuff, man.

She reminds me of… A Phenomenal Woman. Pure beauty and sincerity that shines through. Also, I think this piece of yours is a delight, and can be made into a short story, because for me, that’s what it does. It tells of a story, and its just wonderful.:)

This is simply magnificent and well-written. Two thumbs up! You’ve clearly portrayed a woman’s beauty and vibrance without exaggerating your point. This is a passionate piece that is worth any person’s time. Reading it has been a pleasure.

Love does tend to make us feel all these feelings and more. We have a hard time separating it all in our minds.

You use a great deal of imagery, beautiful thoughts all of them. I found the images ran together. Perhaps re-formulating this piece into poetry might give the reader a better flow through the ideas presented.

I felt rather like all the wonderful ideals of love were put into a kettle and stirred.

If there is an intended woman this piece is for I’m sure she is deeply touched by your love.

Inner passion leads a person to the wanting to know what lies on the other side. When the soul starts being pulled, the vulnerability becomes the deciding factor. She sounds as if she fills an empty room with intrigue and yearning. This is a good write, well expressed with questions being left as my mind wonders about her thought process. I like to be left with questions and this writing did just that!

A poetic mantra, the above lines. There is such depth to this piece. So often I close my eyes and see nothing but darkness.
